Posi­tion Summary: 

The eCom­merce Coor­di­na­tor is respon­si­ble for imple­ment­ing a cohe­sive eCom­merce strat­e­gy, includ­ing all day-to-day oper­a­tions of the web­site. This is a high­ly cross-func­tion­al role, part­ner­ing with mar­ket­ing, sales, cus­tomer ser­vice, and IT teams to man­age con­tent, main­tain appro­pri­ate inven­to­ry lev­els, enhance over­all user expe­ri­ence and main­tain and devel­op an on-brand user experience.

Major Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

  • Han­dle the day-to-day oper­a­tions of the B2C and B2B web­sites, includ­ing cre­at­ing and updat­ing prod­uct list­ings, help­ing to deploy site enhance­ments and per­form­ing testing

  • Main­tain part num­ber and descrip­tion con­sis­ten­cy across our B2B, B2C, and ERP

  • Ana­lyze B2C sales data on a month­ly and quar­ter­ly basis to review mer­chan­dis­ing per­for­mance and inven­to­ry availability.

  • Iden­ti­fy and rec­om­mend prod­uct selec­tion and mer­chan­dis­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties that sup­port brand goals

  • Report on B2B and B2C site ana­lyt­ics includ­ing behav­ior reports and goal conversions

  • Col­lab­o­rate with out­side brand­ing agen­cies and oth­er ven­dors to devel­op new soft goods col­lec­tions and accessories

  • Cre­ate and main­tain train­ing doc­u­men­ta­tion for all rel­e­vant plat­forms (Shopi­fy, Ship Sta­tion, etc…)

  • Assist in the time­ly exe­cu­tion of online con­tent set­up activ­i­ties, includ­ing all mar­ket­ing and pro­mo­tion­al con­tent, prod­uct copy, and imagery 

  • Sup­port in exe­cu­tion of mer­chan­dis­ing strate­gies, includ­ing prod­uct cat­e­go­riza­tion, social cam­paigns, pro­mo­tions, prod­uct page opti­miza­tion, and cross-sel­l­/up-sell strategies

  • Cre­ate and main­tain UPC codes, main­tain prod­uct sheets for Light­speed, Ascend, and Smartetailing

  • Man­age end-to-end cus­tomer expe­ri­ence, includ­ing ques­tions, returns, etc… while main­tain­ing a pos­i­tive, empa­thet­ic, and pro­fes­sion­al atti­tude towards customers

  • Help with spe­cial events, such as deal­er appre­ci­a­tion events and festivals

  • Oth­er duties as assigned

Job Require­ments:

  • Abil­i­ty to man­age mul­ti­ple projects and work well in a fast-paced, detailed, and dead­line-ori­ent­ed environment

  • Pro-active, self-starter with an abil­i­ty to iden­ti­fy issues and areas of opportunity

  • Col­lab­o­rate and com­mu­ni­cate with mul­ti­ple stake­hold­ers to con­tin­u­al­ly dri­ve the best cus­tomer expe­ri­ence pos­si­ble while meet­ing busi­ness objectives

  • Excel­lent orga­ni­za­tion and follow-through

  • In-depth knowl­edge of eCom­merce plat­forms, tech­nolo­gies, and best prac­tices (pri­or expe­ri­ence with Shopi­fy, Magen­to, and Klaviyo a plus) 

  • High lev­el of pro­fi­cien­cy with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

  • Basic knowl­edge of Google Ana­lyt­ics and oth­er web­site report­ing tools 

  • Flu­en­cy in bicy­cle ter­mi­nol­o­gy, tech­nol­o­gy, and use

  • Pos­i­tive, friend­ly atti­tude and a good teammate

Phys­i­cal Endurance:

Able to use a com­put­er ter­mi­nal, and answer a high vol­ume of calls 8 hours per day. Abil­i­ty to lift 25 lbs unassisted

Job Title: Asso­ciate Man­u­fac­tur­ing Engineer

  • Reports to: Plant Manager 

  • Loca­tion: Wat­sonville, CA

  • Sta­tus: Exempt

*Please note that hir­ing for this posi­tion will not begin until Jan­u­ary 2024 at the earliest.*

Posi­tion Sum­ma­ry: As an Asso­ciate Man­u­fac­tur­ing Engi­neer you will sup­port frame pro­duc­tion at our man­u­fac­tur­ing facil­i­ty in Wat­sonville, CA. You will be respon­si­ble for design­ing tools, fix­tures, and process­es to aid in man­u­fac­tur­ing. You will help devel­op SOPs and dri­ve con­tin­u­ous improve­ment ini­tia­tives. You will work close­ly with our oper­a­tions, man­u­fac­tur­ing, engi­neer­ing, and qual­i­ty departments.

Major Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

  • Cre­at­ing process con­trol documentation

  • Design­ing and sourc­ing or fab­ri­cat­ing tools and fixtures

  • Lay up pat­tern development

  • Data col­lec­tion, analy­sis, and report­ing (pro­duc­tion and development)

  • Main­te­nance of machines, equip­ment, and facility

  • Assist with devel­op­ment test­ing and documentation

Required:

  • Demon­strat­ed expe­ri­ence work­ing on mechan­i­cal equip­ment (bikes, motor­cy­cles, cars, boats, machines, etc.) 

  • Abil­i­ty to design 3D parts in CAD software

  • Expe­ri­ence oper­at­ing a lathe, mill, or CNC (or weld­ing experience)

  • Excel­lent ver­bal and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills

Desired:

  • Expe­ri­ence with lam­i­na­tion (com­pos­ites, surf­board repair, etc.)

  • Expo­sure to 3D printing

  • Paint­ing experience

  • Degree in Mechan­i­cal Engi­neer­ing, Man­u­fac­tur­ing Engi­neer­ing, or Indus­tri­al Engineering
