We bet you weren't expecting this one. For a limited time Ibis will be offering a reproduction of famous Ti Mojo last produced in 2001. These frames are being produced for us by Lynskey Titanium in the US, and utilize the same geometry and high end features of the venerable Ti Mojo we produced oh so long ago.
Among the significant features are: butted tubing, S-bend seat stays, tapered chainstays, and Breeze style drop outs.
However, times have changed and so we've made a few concessions to modernity - such as: rear disc brake tabs and a 34.9 mm OD/31.6 mm ID seat tube.
All this results in fast, beautiful, fabulously light (1340g) frame.
You can order the frame with or without the seat stay mounted V-Brake mounts. The studs are removable on these so they can be kept low profile even if the mounts are there but you're using discs. Sorry, no one (well, almost no one) uses cantilevers on a mountain bike any more, so no handjob will be welded on.
Here is some good news for many of you: you can use a Chris King headset on this bike.
The first batch of TiMojo LTD's were made in 2009. For 2010, we'll do another batch in the Spring, probably around March. Contact us for more info or have your Ibis retailer get in touch with us and we can get you on the production list.
